About this place
Heringsdorf an der Lübecker Bucht in Schleswig-Holstein liegt an einem der ruhigeren Küstenabschnitte der deutschen Ostsee, wo breite Strände und flaches Wasser einen gemächlichen Strandurlaub ermöglichen. Das Hinterland ist von Knicks, Feldern und kleinen Dörfern geprägt, wie es für Ostholstein typisch ist. Wer morgens am Strand entlanggeht, hat das Wasser oft für sich, und der Blick auf die Bucht reicht bis zur Insel Fehmarn.
